•  Face coverings are not required for fully vaccinated members or guests, indoors or outdoors. Please be mindful that we are operating under an “honor system”, which seeks to protect other members who may not be vaccinated.

•  Club Staff will be required to wear face coverings while on duty until further notice.

•  The Club will continue to provide socially distanced seating & enhanced cleaning protocols.

• Club provided hand sanitizer can be found at the front desk and various other areas of the Clubhouse, please also wash your hands often.

•  Social distancing (6 ft or more) is still required for non-vaccinated members & guests while indoors and recommended for those who are vaccinated.

•  Reservations are required for all dining service, limited to tables of 10 persons.

•  Club events continue to be limited to members and their guests only. Reciprocal club privileges at SCYC are currently suspended.

•  The Main Bar is open for beverage service. Once you have received your beverage, please exit to the Main Club as it is not feasible to avoid “congregating”, regardless of vaccination status.

•  Seating areas, including tables, chairs and couches inside the Clubhouse are disinfected throughout the day and between guests.

•  Staff will continue to undergo daily health screenings, including temperature checks at the start of each shift. Staff have also been trained and will undergo continued training and monitoring on the increased sanitation and disinfecting protocols.

• Cigarette, e-cigarette and cigar smoking is prohibited in any buildilng, on the porch, or at any function where food is being served.
​• Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children. Children under age 10 cannot be served or remain in the Clubhouse or on the porch unless accompanied by an adult.
​• During the Junior Club season, Junior Club members are not allowed in the Clubhouse without supervision.
​• Anyone under the age of 18 is not allowed in the Bar, and anyone under 21 is not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages on the premises.
​• Pets are not allowed in the Clubhouse, on the porch or in areas where food is being served or prepared. All dogs on Club property must be leashed, be sure to curb your dog. Service animals are permitted in the Clubhouse provided propoer documentation is displayed. 
​• Cell phone use is restricted to the parking areas, lawn and private guest rooms. Portable electronic devices should be utilized in a way which will not cause members to be subjected to unwelcome sounds, noises or images.
​• Photographs or recordings in the Clubhouse are prohibited wihtout permission of the Manager, Flag Officers or House Committee.



• Members and guests must observe all posted traffic signs and parking restrictions. 
​• The speed limit on Club property is 10 mph. 
​• Parking in the vicinity of the Service Dock is reserved for members only, except for spaces specifically designated for hanicap parking.
​• Guest parking is generally restricted to designated areas near the entrance and on the upper lawn.
​• The entrance to the parking area on the upper lawn shall be via the entrance road only.
